So, I registered for the site... why haven't I heard anything?

After registration, we send you an email from our hotmail account. MANY of those emails go unanswered. Perhaps they get lost in your spam folder. Maybe they just get ignored. I don't list that hotmail address on the site here as we've had to change email addresses more than once due to spammers stealing our addy and using it to send porn and viruses. All I can ask is that you check your folders while waiting for an approval, perhaps make certain hotmail.com is not a blocked extension.

To Join the SWC

Welcome to the Submarine Wives Club. This support group is a place for wives of submariners to share their thoughts, vent frustrations and ask for help. We are all in the same "boat" and are here to offer support and advice.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a line and ask!

If you are interested in joining the discussions on our forums, you must first apply for membership. All pending memberships will need to be confirmed via email before you can gain access to the members areas.

If you have been a member in the past, please let us know when confirming your membership so we can either reactivate and update your old account or purge it for your new one. Thanks!

 If you have applied but it's been a couple days and you still haven't gotten an email asking for confirmation of your membership, please check your junk inbox and/or spam filters. Chances are the email to you has been filtered out.

Didn't I have a user name here?

Periodically, the SWC staff need to do a little tidying up on the board. One of those areas is our memberships. We have had such growth since the site became free again, and that is fantastic. However, what's the point of a huge membership if the members don't visit the site? Looking through the logs, we've found members who joined, but a year later they have never returned. There are also a number of folks who used to visit but haven't been back in a year or more. Before we do anything about those memberships, reminders are sent out via email and those who do not respond or check in are purged or suspended. It is certainly nothing personal. If the time comes when you want to rejoin the community, all you have to do is sign up! We'll be happy to have you back.

No system is perfect. If you have been to the site since receiving our email and still got the purge, please let us know and we'll be happy to reinstate your account.
